STEP 1) Fill out Sign Up Form STEP 2) Choose AND prepare a monologue STEP 3) Print and have parent/guardian sign permission slip STEP 4) COME TO ACTING AUDITIONS on THURSDAY AND AUDITION! Only a few 6th graders get into the fall play, but we make sure that everyone has fun at the auditions! See the monologue page for more information on choosing and preparing a monologue - BUT HERE'S THE GOOD PART: you DON'T have to memorize it! If you don't get in, don't worry- everyone gets into the next show, our winter musical! But come audition for the fall play- you'll have fun, and it's good practice in making auditioning less scary! In general, 6th graders are typically cast in ensemble roles where they can learn about being in a production; 7th graders are typically cast in supporting or ensemble roles to continue building performance skills; the main roles are typically reserved for 8th graders who have a history of commitment to drama (including auditioning for plays at Bigelow and conducting themselves in a respectful and responsible manner in all drama productions). THIS IS NOT A GUARANTEE FOR ANY 8TH GRADER. |
Information for Tech CrewTech crew auditions are on Friday September 13, from 2:30-5pm.
STEP 1) Fill out Sign Up Form STEP 2) Choose AND prepare a tech design STEP 3) Print and have parent/guardian sign permission slip STEP 4) COME TO TECH AUDITIONS on FRIDAY and AUDITION! Unfortunately, we cannot take everyone who auditions for tech crew. There just isn't enough space! What stands out to us the most? 1) Your design for your audition, 2) your attitude and, 3) your behavior. We will take students from all 3 grades. Students who have auditioned before do receive extra consideration. But come audition for the fall play- you'll have fun, and it's good practice in making auditioning less scary! |
